While the property is being built, House Passports can hold rooms and spaces, installed systems, appliances and equipment, model and serial information, materials where they matter, warranties, manuals, suppliers, contractors, photos, documents, installation details, and the notes that usually live only with the site team. The current House Passports property model already supports this kind of property-level record.
Photo and AI-assisted capture can help stand it up with less retyping — room and property photos, equipment labels, model and serial details. Construction-stage coordination, checklists, and project workflows would be custom development on that same foundation.

The build creates the information that later owners, service people, and warranty claims actually need. Too often it is left in emails, site photos, shared drives, contractor messages, warranty PDFs, spreadsheets, and a handover pack that is incomplete by the time anyone opens it.
House Passports is not a replacement for dedicated construction-management software. It is a structured property record for the information that should stay with the home: what was installed, where, with which documents, and who did the work.
When the project is complete, that knowledge should still be attached to the property — usable, not buried.
