Your property workflow shouldn’t have to fit our software. We can build the software around it.

House Passports is already a working property platform. It is built around rooms and spaces, systems, appliances, maintenance, documents, photos, warranties, history, and AI-assisted capture. The homeowner product is one way to use that foundation. If your business needs a different workflow, we can potentially build around the way you already work with properties — instead of asking you to start a property system from zero.

We start with how you already work with properties.

A custom system should begin with your process, not with our homeowner app.

That might be a property handover, customer onboarding, a service visit, field documentation, warranty management, internal records, maintenance, or the information you want a customer to see. The first question is where your team already touches a property — and what needs to be captured, handed over, or kept after that moment.

The aim is not to move your business into the standard House Passports workflow. It is to see where the existing property foundation can be reshaped around the work you already do.

Built on a property platform that already exists.

Commissioning a property system from nothing means designing both the property data model and the workflow before the real business experience can even take shape.

House Passports already understands a property as a structured record: rooms and spaces, inventory and equipment, model and serial information, warranties, maintenance, documents, photos, history, contacts, access and roles, reporting, and AI-assisted capture.

The foundation is already there. Custom work can focus on how your business needs to use it — who does the work, what gets recorded, and what the customer sees.

What custom can actually look like.

These are examples of systems that could be built on the House Passports platform. They are not a catalog of products that already ship today.

Branded property handover

A builder, service company, agent, or other partner gives the customer a structured record of the property: selected systems, warranties, manuals, documents, and history. The record belongs to the home, with the company’s process and branding around it.

Custom property capture

Staff or field teams document a property through photos, equipment details, labels, documents, and steps designed around their visit — not around a generic homeowner setup flow.

Customer-facing property record

The business keeps internal notes, costs, and working files separate. The customer sees only the selected systems, documents, warranties, and history they are meant to see.

Warranty and document hub

Equipment, serial numbers, install dates, warranties, manuals, and service history sit together around the company’s relationship with that property — ready for a claim, a callback, or a later owner.

Handover, gifted access, or lifecycle program

The company provides access to the property record at a defined moment: occupancy, closing, installation, or service. The customer starts with a working record instead of a stack of loose papers.

What we can shape around your business.

Custom work can potentially adapt the workflow, the data you capture, the screens people use, permissions, branding, the customer-facing experience, reports, AI-assisted capture, and handover or lifecycle flows.

Larger additions — such as new third-party integrations, a large portfolio console, APIs, or major new systems — are scoped as custom development. We will say what can sit on the existing House Passports platform, and what would need to be built beyond it.

If the standard product isn’t your product, let’s talk about the system you actually need.

Tell us how you work with properties today: who uses the system, what you need to capture, what the customer should see, and where the handover, service, or documentation problem sits. We can then say what can be built on the existing House Passports platform, and what would require additional custom work.
